Steven Davidson

Steven Davidson is Vice President of Government Affairs at Tallgrass Energy and a noted Veteran advocate and policy influencer.
In 2021, he was instrumental in the passage of HB 33 in Texas - a landmark bill that provided support to Veterans exiting the military and transitioning into civilian education and employment.
He has advised and testified on Veteran, energy, and environmental legislation at the state and federal level. He joined Texans for Greater Menthal Health to help bring an end to the Veteran suicide epidemic and expand treatment opportunities to all Texans.
Steven began his career as a Sergeant in the Army, serving one tour in East Africa for which he was named “Soldier of the Year” by the Army Times. Following his tenure in the military he joined the Obama Administration, serving first at the White House and later at the Department of Energy.
Steven has master's degrees from Johns Hopkins University and the London School of Economics. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas. He lives in Texas with his wife, where he serves as a Trustee of the state’s aquarium and coaches the University of Houston’s rugby club.
