Courtney Barnes advises clients across emerging and highly regulated industries, with a focus on psychedelics, tax-exempt organizations, and regulatory compliance. She teaches Psychedelics Law as an adjunct professor at The University of Texas School of Law and brings deep experience helping clients navigate novel legal frameworks at the intersection of law, policy, and social change. Courtney previously served as a lead drafter of Denver’s Psilocybin Decriminalization Initiative, the first successful voter-led psychedelic policy reform measure in the United States.
